Find real looking animals in sources like toys, magazines, videos, real life, etc. Ask the children to associate the animals in the Flashcards with the animals that we selected. For example: the dog that appears in the magazine matched to the dog on the Flashcard, the family’s cat with the cat on the Flashcard.
